A Photographer's Guide To Phillip Island - Part 1: 'The Pinnacles'
The Pinnacles has to be without doubt what I feel the most naturally spectacular place on Phillip Island. I thought I would write a bit of a blog post on shooting here and a few tips and tricks to help you out if you’re planning on heading to this magnificent location.
The Rhyll Deal
Rhyll is a quaint little part of Phillip Island and is often never visited past the likes of Cowes, Seal Rocks and the Penguin parade. However being one of the few places on the island facing east it can certainly deliver at sunrise.
What's Involved in a shoot?
Every shoot is different for a landscape photographer, sometimes you can wander down to your local beach and shoot amazing sunsets. Other times you can drive for 2 hours and come home with nothing. In this blog post I take you through a typical photo shoot and what’s involved.

Featured Image – Bella Manarola
Shot at probably my most favourite town of all that I visited in Europe recently, the amazing Manarola – one of the 5 little towns that make up the Cinque Terre on the west coast of Italy. Will be back for sure, already heading back to Tuscany next year for a Tom Mackie workshop. Pretty amped, hope you like it!
